Usually optical image systems are used to identify bottles, cases and foreign bodies, and cases are emptied and sorted automatically. Drive systems with standard dynamic characteristics are sufficient for this. The horizontal and vertical movements have to be coordinated to protect
products. The drives are usually connected by a fieldbus that distributes status information.
